STEP 1

PAYMENTS AND INSURANCE

I am in network with many insurance providers and bill directly to them through Lactation Consultants of America. See below.

What happens if I’m not "in network" through my insurance or I have a Health Share Program?

I will provide you with a “superbill” for you to submit to your insurance/Health Share Program company for reimbursement. Reimbursement is usually provided from these companies but is not guaranteed. Payment will be due at the time of service or a payment plan set up if needed. For current prices please contact Hannah.

Fill out intake paperwork on Lactation Consultants of America by emailing me at hannah@gracefullygrownlactation.com

Scheduling:

When you email me for the intake paperwork, we will schedule your first visit then.

 

Topics Covered In Your Visits 

Initial Consult

The first visit we will have will be between 60-90 minutes and this is the time you get to delve deep into the hopes and dreams you have for breastfeeding. Each mama and family has a special circumstance which is unique to them, and I’m here to listen and support yours.

Topics we’ll discuss could be:

  • Birth Story 

  • Mothers health history, current history, mental health and nutrition

  • Family Concerns

  • Breast Assessment

  • Milk Supply

  • Infant Medical and Health Concerns

  • Latch Evaluation

  • Education on Tongue Tie

  • Pump Education and Fitting

  • Assessment of Oral Function and Anatomy 

  • Pre and Post Feeding weight checks 

  • Goals for feeding

  • Food reactivity and follow up care

  • Individualized Care Plan

  • Recommendations on Referrals if needed (physical therapy, dentist, OB/GYN, cranio-sacral therapy..)

Follow-Up Consults

Follow-up visits can be between 15-60 minutes. We will continue to work together to help you achieve your breastfeeding goals and encourage you to have the confidence you need for success.
